Recently, Google’s official Webmaster Central Blog has released more information about an algorithmic change that will affect the results of mobile search.
The change will favor websites that are mobile ready. This is yet another reason for you to pull your finger out and making your website mobile friendly!
Google’s Matt Cutts has also been talking to Danny Sullivan at SMX about the importance of mobile traffic. Matt Said,
“You really need to be thinking about mobile…”
According to the latest data from StatCounter, 18% of global internet traffic (September 2013) is already coming from mobile enable devices. This is expected to grow rapidly over the coming months and years.
